Dr. Tim Sproule has been practicing in Toronto and Scarborough since 1987. His practice includes significant activity in the subspecialties of Aesthetic Surgery, Laser Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Hand Surgery, Microsurgery, and Pediatric Surgery. Dr. Sproule graduated from medical school in 1980 from the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. During his medical school years, he trained at Guy’s Hospital in London, England and also at Parkland Hospital, in Dallas, Texas, USA, where he worked extensively with severe burn victims, an experience that motivated him to continue training in Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Sproule was appointed a lecturer in the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto in March of 1995.

FILLERS OVERVIEW:

This 1-day intensive hands-on training workshop will present the history, development, and characteristics of dermal fillers (Collagen, Teosyal, Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Prevelle, Sculptra, and Silicone). Comprehensive didactic will be presented of the different injection techniques and safety issues, as well as management and treatment of complications. We will discuss pain management modalities including topical numbing agents. The consultation and assessment process, implement selection criteria of filling agents and the importance of establishing realistic client expectations will also be covered. In the afternoon, an intense hands-on session will be presented. We will explore the creative and artistic aspects important for a successful treatment outcome which will include special techniques to create the look your clients’ desire and ways to treat difficult problem areas. Our ratio of instructor to student for this class is 4-6 students to 1 instructor. During the course, you will gain valuable insight and pearls on the “How To” of this unique business model for optimal success. We will discuss price structuring, market trends, and retention of your client base. Attendees will receive a manual, product for practicum, nurse shirt and. A certificate confirming hands-on training will be provided upon completion of the course.
